Fees are priced at a fixed rate of £60 a week per placement. There is also a £150 admin fee plus training costs which are priced at £250 for Level 2 and £400 for Level 3 . In addition to these costs is the apprentice’s monthly wage.

The Pharmacy Agency is an official Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency, therefore we can offer short-term apprenticeship placements and multiple work placements throughout the apprenticeship training journey. Our commitment to the apprentices is a minimum of 15 months – this is so the apprentice has enough time to complete their practical training and end-point assessment (EPA). Your Commitment can be from as little as 3 months all the way through to 15 months.

Our training providers, Skills 4 Pharmacy, offer an online approach to training delivery which includes a weekly 2-hour remote lesson with their tutor and course mates. This typically takes place during their working hours at the pharmacy. Students are also permitted 20% off-the-job training time – these hours will be based on how many hours they work in the pharmacy, but usually equate to 6-8 hours a week. All training programmes are tailored to the individual.

The training is funded by The Pharmacy Agency apprenticeship levy.
